that you have heard Sherrie's story, Inward Core will like to provide you with more ways to
change your Self Talk.
1.
Identity your Fears and write down statements you say to yourself and
others to confirm your fears. Examples: I'm going to loose my job
because my supervisor does not like me! (Your fear is loosing your job) I
am in my 30s, 40s, or 50s and I'm never going to find the right person
to married. (Fear of not getting married or finding someone) I've been
trying to work this business for 6 years and no progress. (fear of not
reaching goals/dream)
2. Write beside each statement the opposite of what you desire to happen.
Examples:
I'm going to loose my job because my supervisor does not like me! (Your
fear is loosing your job) - Response: Although I feel my supervisor
does not like me, I'm still going to offer my best, and if this job is
for me I will remain, if not I will find another one with better pay and
better hours. I refuse to walk in fear of the unknown.
I
am in
my 30s, 40s, or 50s and I'm never going to find the right person to
married. (Fear of not getting married or finding someone) - Response:
Most of the people I've met are not what I desire, but there is someone
out there. I will continue to enjoy life and when that person comes in
my life I will know it. But I'm loved, desired, and fulfilled today and
will not worry or fear my future.
3.
Have positive statements in places you view all the time. Inside your
car, bathroom, clothing, favorite cup, office, etc. This step reminds
you what you choose to believe and help remove negative self-talk or
